Rent One Gets a New Look
Posted: 05/01/08
MT. VERNON, Ill. --- Rent One, a rent-to-own (RTO) company with locations throughout Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri, began a re-branding of its 43 stores in 2006. The Mt. Vernon, Illinois location was its latest project, and the store will be celebrating with an open house and ribbon cutting on May 2.
Enhanced product displays and a customer friendly layout are chief among the store's changes.
"We wanted to modernize the look of our stores, as well as provide an environment that allows our customers to really interact with our products," Rent One president Larry Carrico said.
The new design features red and blue accent walls and a new layout, as well as enhanced product displays. According to Carrico, the additions, improvements, and new design are about bringing a fresh look to the store with the end goal of customer satisfaction.
"Everything was done to help make each person's shopping experience even better. We’ve always provided great products and great service, and the new design reflects that," vice president of sales and marketing Mark Williams said.
Customers, friends, and family can see the Mt. Vernon Rent One's redesign for themselves on Friday, May 2, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the store's ribbon cutting and open house. Food and beverages will be served, and attendees can register for a free door prize – an IWA 250 personal navigation system, valued at $259.
Including the Mt. Vernon store, 24 store remodels are complete, with 9 more scheduled in 2008. Rent One plans to have all of its stores re-branded by the end of 2009. For more information about Rent One and to view its current promotion, visit ShopRentOne.com.
