POCAHONTAS, Ark. --- In 2006, Rent One committed to a re-branding of all 43 of its rent-to-own (RTO) stores located throughout Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri. The Pocahontas, Arkansas location was its most recent project.

The remodeled store now features a new, customer friendly design, including enhanced product displays.

"We wanted to make our store environments more exciting and modern. We were ready to update the look, and we wanted to make sure it was done with the customer experience in mind," Rent One vice president of sales and marketing Mark Williams said.

Now when customers enter the store, they can expect to be welcomed by a burst of color; bright red walls highlight the electronics department and bright blue walls designate the appliances section.

"The new, bolder colors make the interior more exciting, but it is about more than aesthetics; an electronics display wall that showcases flat panel TVs and a new laptop and desktop kiosk display will allow for better interaction with the products," Williams said.

In addition to the new TV wall, Rent One also added a newly designed customer service area. According to Williams, the remodeling plans were about more than just bringing a fresh look to the store. The additions, improvements, and redesign were all done with the end goal of customer satisfaction.

"The new carpet, new counter area, and new color scheme all come together to help make each customer‘s shopping experience even more enjoyable. We‘ve always provided great products and great service, now the store design reflects that," Williams said.

Including the Pocahontas store, 22 of the remodels are complete, with 11 more scheduled in 2008. Rent One plans to have all of its stores rebranded by the end of 2009. For more information about Rent One and to view its current promotion, visit ShopRentOne.com.
